SF Oyster Adventure Race- Oct. 14, 2007
Urban Adventure Race team needs one more female.
This is an awesome race and we need one more female to round out our team. The disciplines and course remain a mystery until the start of the race but last year it included running, stair climbing, rollerblading, cycling, kayaking plus urban navigation. You are given clues and the race has 8-9 legs and takes 6-8 hours. It's a bit of an athletic event and scavenger hunt all in one.
This is a long race but the disciplines change so your body doesn't get too worn out. It's completed in teams and we'd like to enter the female division (although males will be considered). Please be in shape but not necessarily a super-allstar. I've done this race once, it will be the first time for my teammate. Please be even-tempered and a good sport. I'm happy to provide more info. It's a great race!

Monday Night Volleyball league in SF, needs a setter.
We've been playing together for several seasons and lost a lot of our teammate to grad school and parenthood this Fall. The remaining players are a crop of good front row players but we don't have a setter. The level of play is competitive but not too intense-- we're all doing this for fun. We need both males and females for the team.

A team of strong hitters needs a consistent A level female setter for a Wednesday night coed league in Foster City. Friendly bunch of teammates who can hit the crap out of the ball, just short on one gal player to help set us up. Contact if interested.

Register on-site starting at 8:00 a.m. Enjoy music, prizes and refreshments and receive a commemorative T-shirt. Proceeds benefit Child Advocates of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
